Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks have gone 0-1-2 so far on the road trip. They battled Nashville to a regulation tie and lost in overtime. Anaheim was then blanked by Dallas 5-0. Yesterday the Ducks went the distance with the Wild going to a shootout. Trevor Zegras put on a show in the shootout, but he had the only Anaheim goal and Minnesota scored twice to get the extra point.

The team has been averaging 2.44 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.16 against. The Ducks have struggled on special teams this season. They are 16.7% efficient with the extra man and 65.2% efficient on the penalty kill, both ranking at the bottom of the league. Anaheim also gives up on average 37.8 shots per game which is the most in the league. They average around 30 shots on goal per game(30.2).

Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 26 total points(11 G + 15 A).

Injury News:

Isac Lundestrom has a fractured finger and will be out for six weeks.

John Klingberg (lower-body injury) was placed on the IR.

Max Comtois (lower-body injury) was placed on the IR.

Derek Grant suffered a lower body injury yesterday and won’t play tonight.

Winnipeg Outlook 

The Jets are coming off a 4-1 loss to Columbus on Friday night. Winnipeg was on a three game winning streak after beating Dallas, Chicago, and Colorado. They are currently in second place in the Central Division, just three points behind Dallas.

They are  averaging 3.14 goals a game which ranks tied for 15th in the league. They give up 2.59 goals against, which is ranks 4th best. They have been decent on the power play with a 20.8% efficiency. The penalty kill has been operating at a 83.1% efficiency.

Josh Morrissey leads the team in total points with 25 (5 G + 20 A).
