Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks continue their 10 game homestand against the Vegas Golden Knights. Anaheim lost the first two games 4-1 to Minnesota and then 3-2 to Calgary in overtime. This is the second meeting between Anaheim and Vegas this season. The Golden Knights took the first game of the season back on October 28th by a 4-0 final.

The team has been averaging 2.31 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.11 against. They are 17.0% efficient with the extra man and 69.5% efficient on the penalty kill, both ranking at the bottom of the league. Anaheim also gives up on average 38.1 shots per game which is the most in the league. They average around 30 shots on goal per game(29.1).

Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 29 total points(12 G + 17 A).

Anthony Stolarz has a lower body injury and has been on the IR.

Isac Lundestrom has a fractured finger and will be out for six weeks. He has been placed on the IR.

Derek Grant (lower-body injury) is on the IR.

Vegas Outlook 

The Golden Knights played the Los Angeles Kings last night and lost 4-2. The teams battled to a 2-2 twi after two periods of play, but the Kings were able to pull away in the third period. Vegas has gone 5-5-0 in their last 10 games and is in first place in the Pacific Division, ahead of LA by three points.

Vegas averages 3.31 goals per game and they give up 2.78 against. They have been decent on the power play (26.5% efficiency) and their penalty kill(75.3% efficiency).

Chandler Stephenson leads the team with 36 total points(9 G + 27 A).
