Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks ended their six game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals. The Ducks got down twice by one goal and came back each time to tie the score. Eventually the Ducks went ahead in the third period for good with a goal by Jakob Silfverberg. Derek Grant added an empty net goal to solidify the victory.

Carolina Outlook 

The Hurricanes shutout the Ottawa Senators last night by a 4-0 final. It an odd bit of scheduling they will play the Ducks tonight in back-to-back home games. Carolina has won five games in a row and have gone 9-1-0 in their last 10 games. They are currently in first place in the Metropolitan Division.

Carolina averages 3.39 goals per game and they give up 2.56 against. They have been 19.8% efficient on the power play and 82.5% efficient on the penalty kill.

Sebastian Aho leads the team in goals with 25.
