Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals. The Ducks got down by a goal twice in the game and comeback two times to tie things up. They forced overtime and lost, but still picked up a point. Anaheim has earned seven points out of a possible 8 in their last four games. Troy Terry is red hot scoring a goal in each of his last four games.

Roster Moves:

Dmitry Kulkov was traded to Pittsburgh for a 2024 third round draft pick and Brock McGinn.

John Klingberg was traded to Minnesota for Andrej Sustr, the rights to Nikita Nesterenko, and a 4th round pick in 2025.

Max Golod was traded to Chicago for Dylan Sikura.

Rocco Grimaldi and Logan Nijhoff were traded to the Rockford Icehogs for future considerations.

Injury News:

Adam Henrique has an MCL sprain and is out 5-6 weeks.

Urho Vaakanainen had hip surgyer last week and is out 5-6 months.

Montreal Outlook 

The Canadiens played the Los Angeles Kings last night and lost 3-2. Montreal scored the opening goal in the first period, but then Los Angeles scored the next three. The Canadiens pulled within on in the third, but couldn’t get the game tying goal. Montreal has gone 6-4-0 in their last 10 games and they are currently in last place in the Atlantic Division.

Montreal averages 2.69 goals per game and they give up 3.57 against. They have been 16.8% efficient on the power play and 74.5% efficient on the penalty kill.
