Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a 3-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Anaheim got down early in the opening minute of the game, but John Gibson shut the door for most of the game. The Ducks were able to score three unanswered goals to build a 3-1 lead. The Canadiens got a late goal with 30 seconds left to make it a 3-2 final.

The team has been averaging 2.51 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.03 against. They are 16.5% efficient with the extra man and 73.6% efficient on the penalty kill, both ranking at the bottom of the league. Anaheim also gives up on average 39.4 shots per game which is the most in the league. They average 29.2 shots on goal.

Roster Moves:

Dmitry Kulikov was traded to Pittsburgh for a 2024 third round draft pick and Brock McGinn.

John Klingberg was traded to Minnesota for Andrej Sustr, the rights to Nikita Nesterenko, and a 4th round pick in 2025.

Max Golod was traded to Chicago for Dylan Sikura.

Rocco Grimaldi and Logan Nijhoff were traded to the Rockford Icehogs for future considerations.

Injury News:

Adam Henrique has an MCL sprain and is out 5-6 weeks.

Urho Vaakanainen had hip surgyer last week and is out 5-6 months.

Seattle Outlook 

The Kraken are coming over a 3-2 overtime win against the Colorado Avalanche. Seattle got down by a goal twice in the game and rallied each time to tie things up. In overtime, Yanni Gourde scored the game winner. The Kraken are on a four game winning streak and have gone 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. They are currently in third place in the Pacific Division.

Seattle averages 3.49 goals per game and they give up 3.13 against. They have been 19.9% efficient on the power play and 74.2% efficient on the penalty kill.
