Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks played their final road game of the season yesterday. Anaheim came back from being down 1-0 and 3-1 and nearly won 4-3 in regulation. Arizona was able to tie up the game in the final seconds of regulation and then went on to win in overtime. The Ducks picked up one point and were bumped from 1st draft lottery position to 3rd since Columbus and Chicago both lost yesterday.

The team has been averaging 2.47 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.06 against. They are 15.8% efficient with the extra man and 72.7% efficient on the penalty kill. Anaheim also gives up on average 39.1 shots per game which is the most in the league. They average 28.4 shots on goal.

Trevor Zegras leads the Ducks with 61 total points(22 G + 39 A).

Injury News:

Drew Helleson was recalled and will play tonight.

Max Comtois will miss the final three games of the season with an upper-body injury.

Scott Harrington is out with an upper-body injury tonight.

Jamie Drysdale has been skating at practice, but he won’t return this season according to head coach Dallas Eakins.

Anthony Stolarz had knee surgery recently. The estimated recovery time is 6-8 weeks.

Roster Moves:

Olle Eriksson Ek was recalled from San Diego and will be the back up tonight. John Gibson has been feeling ill this past week.

Jackson LaCombe is headed to California today according to Jess Myers. There is a chance he could sign with the Ducks and play Tuesday.

Colorado Outlook 

The Avs are currently on a four game winning streak after beating the LA Kings last night. Colorado has gone 8-2-0 in their last 10 games. They have 102 points and are tied with Dallas for first place in the Central Division. Colorado does have one game in hand over Dallas.

Colorado averages 3.33 goals per game and they give up 2.72 against. They have been 24.7% efficient on the power play and 78.8% efficient on the penalty kill.

Nathan MacKinnon leads the team in total points with 104(37 G + 67 A)
