Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks started the homestand with a 2-1 “loss” to the Florida Panthers. The Ducks got down 2-0 and tried to make a comeback in the third period. Frank Vatrano got the Ducks on the board and then Jakob Silfverberg appeared to tie the game. The play was reviewed by the War Room in Toronto and they determined there wasn’t enough conclusive evidence to deem it a goal. The Ducks kept pushing despite the no goal call, but still officially lost 2-1.
Anaheim has gone 7-3-0 in their last 10 games. They are currently in fourth place in the Pacific Division.

Trevor Zegras (lower body injury) was placed on the IR on Monday. He appears to have been playing hurt for a good portion of the games at the start of this season. ESPN’s Emily Kaplan believes he has played about half of the games injured this season. According to Greg Cronin, the injury is likely somewhere between the knee and the chest area for him and Drysdale.
