Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks battled the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night to a scoreless tie after two periods of play. LA scored early in the period and added a second goal to make it 2-0. The Ducks got one back with just under two minutes to make it interesting, but the Kings scored two empty net goals to win 4-1.
An early concern for Anaheim is their power play. They have gone 0-for-17 with the extra man. While shorthanded they have killed off 13 of 16 penalties good for 81.3%. The Ducks have been solid defensively blocking 96 shots in their first five contests. The Ducks at even strength have a CF% of 42.74% and a FF% of 42.45%.
Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with three goals.
