Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks have lost both games on the current road trip. They played the New York Rangers on Saturday night and lost 2-1. The Rangers scored twice in the third period to take 2-0 lead. The Ducks were able to get one goal, but couldn’t tie up the game. Anaheim had a slow start to the contest, but played much better in the second half.

Anaheim scored first against New Jersey on Sunday, but then the Devils scored the next five goals in a row and never looked back. The Ducks pushed back in the third, but only scored once and lost 6-2.

An early concern for Anaheim has been special teams play. The Ducks are currently 8.2% efficient with the extra man. Shorthanded they are sitting at 75.0% efficiency. The Ducks at even strength have a CF% of 43.19% and a FF% of 43.62%.

Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with four goals.
