Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks started out their home stand against the Chicago Blackhawks. Anaheim had a strong start to the game, but it was Chicago who scored first and built a 2-0 lead in the first period. The Ducks found themselves behind 3-0 to start the third and scored a pair of goals late in the contest, but ultimately lost 4-2.
Anaheim then squared off against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Ducks scored in the opening period with a power play goal by Olen Zellweger. The Canucks scored twice late in the period to gain momentum. They had a 3-1 advantage at the start of the third and cruised to a 5-1 victory.
Head Coach Greg Cronin continues to suffer the forward lines to try to create more offense. At yesterday’s practice he put Isac Lundestrom on the top line and Mason McTavish on the fourth line. It will be interesting to see what the actual lineup looks like tonight.
