Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks started out their home stand against the Chicago Blackhawks. Anaheim had a strong start to the game, but it was Chicago who scored first and built a 2-0 lead in the first period. The Ducks found themselves behind 3-0 to start the third and scored a pair of goals late in the contest, but ultimately lost 4-2.
Anaheim then squared off against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Ducks scored in the opening period with a power play goal by Olen Zellweger. The Canucks scored twice late in the period to gain momentum. They had a 3-1 advantage at the start of the third and cruised to a 5-1 victory.
The Ducks hosted the Minnesota Wild on Friday night. Anaheim got off to a slow start giving up three goals in the first period. The Ducks did get a couple goals in the third period, but it was too little too late. Anaheim ended up dropping that game 5-2.

Columbus Outlook
The Blue Jackets played the Los Angeles Kings last night and lost 5-2. Dmitri Voronkov scored in the first period to give Columbus a 1-0 lead, but the Kings scored the next three goals. Ivan Provorov scored in the third to make it a one goal, but LA added two more goals to earn the win. Columbus is in the middle of a five game road trip. After tonight they will finish the trip up in Seattle on Tuesday.
