Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks played last night in Dallas and took down the Stars 4-2. Olen Zellweger scores in the opening moments of the game. Brett Leason and Cutter Gauthier also scored to give Anaheim a 3-0 lead after two periods. The Stars did fight back in the third period pulling within one goal, but a late tally by Jackson LaCombe sealed the win for Anaheim.

Anaheim played Chicago back on November 3rd at home. The Blackhawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead and eventually won 4-2. This will be the second of three meetings between each other this season. The Ducks are 3-3-2 on the road this season.

Robby Fabbri had surgery on his meniscus and is expected to be out six weeks.

Cam Fowler (upper-body) was placed on the IR this week and is expected to be out 2-4 weeks.

Mason McTavish (upper-body) also currently on the IR.

Urho Vaakanainen (upper-body) is questionable tonight.

Brock McGinn (Lower-body) will not play tonight. He left last night’s game in the second period after crashing into the boards on a scoring attempt. Sam Colangelo will draw in the lineup as a result.

The Blackhawks are currently on a two game losing skid. They return home from a quick two game road trip where they lost 3-1 in Seattle and then 4-1 in Vancouver. They are in eighth place in the Central Division and have gone 2-4-0 while at home.
