Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are currently on a six game wining streak. They beat the Dallas Stars 3-1. Anaheim then played Los Angeles in a pair of back-to-back contests. The Ducks won the first contest 3-2 in a shootout and then won the second game 2-1 in overtime. Anaheim then edged the New York Rangers beating them 5-3 at home.

The Ducks went on the road to Colorado and scored in the first period. They held a 1-0 advantage until late in the contest when Colorado tied up the game. The Ducks ended up winning 2-1 in the shootout. In their last game they jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period against Seattle. Anaheim had a 3-1 lead to start the third period and ended up winning 4-2.

What has been impressive during this winning streak is the Ducks have been shorthanded at the forward position with various players out due to injury or illness.
