The Ducks won the first contest 3-2 in a shootout and then won the second game 2-1 in overtime. Anaheim then edged the New York Rangers beating them 5-3 at home.
The Ducks went on the road to Colorado and scored in the first period. They held a 1-0 advantage until late in the contest when Colorado tied up the game. The Ducks ended up winning 2-1 in the shootout. In their last game they jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period against Seattle.
