The Ducks have come out of the Olympic break earning three wins against the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, and Calgary Flames. The Ducks came back multiple times in all three  games and beat the Oilers 6-5, Jets 5-4 in overtime, and Calgary 3-2 in the shootout. The Ducks have won five in a row.

Troy Terry has also been dealing with an upper-body injury and has not been practicing.

Ryan Strome has not be playing due to feeling under the weather. He did practice today.

Colorado Outlook 

The Avs played the Los Angeles Kings last night and won 4-2. Colorado jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period. LA fought back with a goal late in the first period and another in the second to tie the game at two. The Avs went ahead late in the third period and then added an empty net goal for good measure. Colorado is the first team to reach 40 wins this season.
