Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks won their first game on the road trip 4-1 over the Jets. Winnipeg scored first in the second period, but Anaheim quickly responded with three goals in less than two minutes. The Ducks carried the lead through the third period and added an empty net goal to win 4-1.
The Ducks lost their second game on the trip in Toronto. Anaheim gave up the first goal, but responded with three straight goals. The Maple Leafs were able rally and win largely due to a five minute major kneeing penalty to Radko Gudas. Toronto scored twice on the power play and eventually won 6-4.
