The Ducks are currently on a five game losing streak. In their last game they scored first against Calgary, but then found themselves down 4-1 to start the third period. The Ducks tried to rally scoring twice, but couldn’t tie the game up. The Flames ended up getting an empty net goal and won 5-3.
The Los Angeles Kings beat Nashville last night and are only four points behind Anaheim now. San Jose also won pulling within six points of Anaheim with a game in hand. Tonight and Thursday night are must win games for Anaheim.

The Predators played the Los Angeles Kings last night losing in a shootout. Nashville picked up a point, but Los Angles leap frogged them for the final wild card sport in the Western Conference. The Predators will play the Ducks tonight and in their final game of the season. That final game of the season could have implications for both teams.
