The Ducks evened up the series at 1-1 with a 6-4 when in Game 2. Anaheim scored first and found themselves leading 4-3 to start the third period. Edmonton tied the game up, but Cutter Gauthier scored his second of the game to make it 5-4. Ryan Poehling as scored his second of the game with an empty netter to seal the deal.

The Oilers lost Game 2 and now head back to Anaheim with the series tied 1-1. Edmonton was able to tie up the game in the third period at four goals apiece, but Anaheim pulled away eventually to win.
