Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks scored first, the Golden Knights responded in the first period of Game 5. The teams were tied until early in the third when Vegas scored to take a 2-1 lead. Olen Zellweger scored late in the third period to tie the game and force overtime. Vegas then scored the game winner in the extra session.
Anaheim now faces an elimination game at home in Game 6. They need to get off to a good start in the first period. They also need to improve their transition game when exiting their own zone.

Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights got behind early, but tied up the game in the first period. They took the lead early in the third period, but Anaheim tied it up in the final minutes. Vegas then scored in overtime to pull out the win.
Vegas will be without Brayden McNabb. He put a big hit on Ryan Poehling in the last game, which knocked him out of the game. McNabb was suspended one game as a result of the hit.
