Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks start the season out on the road in Las Vegas. They will face the Golden Knights, who eliminated them in the playoffs last season in the second round. Anaheim is a new look team with several departures from last season. The Ducks will have several new and young faces in the lineup. Anaheim will also start the season already down a few players to injury.

Some question the off season moves for Anaheim and whether they can make the playoffs again this season. Regardless the Ducks are one of the youngest teams in the NHL and will be very entertaining to watch this season.

Drew Helleson (lower body) and Ian Moore (lower body) have both benefited placed on the IR.

Tristan Luneau signed a 6 year extension yesterday with a $7.2 mil AAV.

Vegas Outlook

The Golden Knights have already started their season with a 5-2 win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Vegas jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period and then held a 3-2 advantage in the beginning of third before finally pulling away. Five different players scored for the Golden Knights.
