Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are in the middle of a four-game road trip. They started out with a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues. Then in a heated contest, they lost to the Washington Capitals 5-2. During the middle of the second period, the teams went at it with Erik Gudbranson and Garnet Hathaway being the main focus. After exchanging a few punches, Hathaway spit in Gudbranson’s face. The league suspended Hathaway for three games as a result.
The road trip doesn’t get any easier as the Ducks take on another strong team in the Florida Panthers. Florida is currently on a two-game winning streak at home where they are currently 5-2-2. The Panthers have only lost five games in regulation so far this season.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 9 goals.

Florida closes out a four-game homestand tonight against Anaheim. The Panthers have won two out of three during this time at home and have only lost twice in regulation at home all season.
Florida has the second-highest goals scored per game average at 3.62. They also have a deadly power play that operates at 25.4% efficiency, which is four best in the league. Their penalty kill is 83.3% efficient, which is just outside the top ten in the league. They do give up 3.48 goals against, so this could be a high scoring contest.
