Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks close out their homestand tonight against the St. Louis Blues. This is the make-up game as the previous matchup was canceled when Jay Bouwmeester collapsed at the Ducks bench. Anaheim is 2-0-1 on the current stretch of home games. The Ducks beat the Maple Leafs 2-1 and then lost in overtime to the Wild 5-4. Anaheim then won last night 5-2 against Ottawa. Nicolas Deslauriers scored a natural hat trick in the first period.
Speaking of hat tricks, the Ducks beat the Blues in their first meeting this season as Derek Grant recorded a hat trick in that contest. In the second meeting, the Ducks lost 4-1. This will be the third and final meeting of the season.
Adam Henrique leads the team with 25 goals.
Injury News per Bob Murray:
Erik Gudbranson(IR – upper-body) has been cleared to play by the doctors and should return this week.
Cam Fowler(lower-body) has been skating and he has a chance to return later this week.
Hampus Lindholm(upper-body) has a sore back and shoulder. It’s unclear when and if he will return this season.
John Gibson strained his groin in the game against Toronto.
