Podcast: A World Without Hockey

As the clock wound down on the Anaheim Ducks contest against the St. Louis Blues, there was an uncertainty in the air. The NHL was trying to decide how to proceed with the rest of the regular season. The NBA had already suspended play due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
The following day, on March 12th the NHL announced it would be suspending play. Over the course of the past week, all major sports suspended and/or canceled play. Even Major League Baseball delayed the start of their season. Minor league and college sports also followed suit.
We are living in an unprecedented time as not only are sports being affected but so are many other aspects of our everyday lives.
