Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks were just shutout by the Edmonton Oilers 4-0. The Ducks losing streak has now reached a franchise-worst eight games(0-6-2). There have been reports that Randy Carlyle could be fired in the near future. If the Ducks lose tonight and he is fired, then it would be ironic because the Ottawa Senators were the team Anaheim beat to win the Stanley Cup in Carlyle’s first term with the team. Anaheim is in fourth place in the Pacific Division.
Pontus Aberg and Ondrej Kase both lead the team with 11 goals. Ryan Getzlaf has nine goals and leads the team with 29 total points(9 G + 20 A).
Injury News
Rickard Rakell has been practicing and could return tonight. He has been removed from the IR.
Roster Moves
Jake Dotchin was recalled from San Diego yesterday.
Joshua Mahura and Ben Street have been reassigned to San Diego.

Ottawa Outlook
The Senators are coming off a 5-4 defeat by the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes. Senators rallied from being down two goals at three different points in the game but ultimately lost when Justin Williams scored in the third period. The Senators are also on an eight-game losing streak. Something has to give tonight as one of these teams will finally get back in the win column. Ottawa is currently in last place in the Atlantic Division.
Mark Stone leads the team in goals(20) and total points(47).
